Diana West is an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) in private practice, co-author with Dr. Elliot Hirsch of Breastfeeding After Breast and Nipple Surgery (Hale Publishing, 2008), co-author with Lisa Marasco of Making More Milk (McGraw-Hill, 2008), author of the Clinician's Breastfeeding Triage Tool (International Lactation Consultant Association, 2007) and Defining Your Own Success: Breastfeeding After Breast Reduction Surgery (La Leche League International, 2001), as well as numerous magazine articles. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology, is a retired La Leche League Leader, a website developer, and administrator of the popular BFAR.org, LowMilkSupply.org, LactSpeak.com, and LactAsk.com websites. She and her family raise German shepherd guide dog puppies for the Seeing Eye. Most importantly, Diana mothers her three charming, breastfed sons in partnership with her amazing husband Brad in their home in New Jersey.
